Tell us why you are right for this job and why you want to joint Media Frankfurt.
All applications will be sifted by our HR Department, and if we find your documents satisfactory we shall pass your application on to the department in question.
A detailed professional scrutiny will be carried out in the department, and if we find your documents satisfactory we shall invite you to an interview – either initially to a telephone interview or to a personal meeting.
At this interview we should like to find out more about you. We shall talk in detail about your work experience and professional skills and about what we would require of you. We shall also give you detailed information about the job advertised. But a comparison of mutual expectations, your personality and “cultural fit” for the team, are vital points – both for us and for you.
After the interview we will discuss the opportunities and also await your feedback. Finally we shall talk about the individual and further stages in the application process.

My first day
... with Media Frankfurt ...
We’ve done it – decided we want to work together, Media Frankfurt and I
Today I start my job as marketing manager, focusing on concept and strategy as well as PR.
At half-past nine I am received by Nicole, our personnel officer. Past the kitchen (oh yes, very nice; a couple of my colleagues are standing round with their morning espresso – I mean of course talking shop) to my office...with a view: on the eighth floor, looking across the Schwanheim Forest to the Taunus Hills...if you pan round, the Frankfurt skyline appears on the horizon. Could be worse).
Here too I meet my immediate colleague – very nice person. My boss too puts his head round the door and calls a happy welcome to me. I am guided through the offices and meet my other colleagues.
Then it’s time to get down to it. Once at my workplace again, I find myself looking at a wonderful bouquet – a welcome greeting from Media Frankfurt. My diary shows me that some thoughts have been given in advance to what I should start with: airport tours ewith my colleagues, further presentation meetings with the individual departments as well as a telephone interview is already arranged between a trade journal and Ms. Schwab, our MD, which I am scheduled to attend.
The lunch break I spend outside. The huge birds flying over our building fascinate me; you think you could almost grab their undercarriages. Huge.
In the afternoon I have my first discussion on professional matters with Vanessa. The promises were not exaggerated: my range of responsibilities is highly varied.
At 6.00 p.m. I am sitting in the bus, with a feeling of relief. A fine first day which makes me want more.
And even today it constantly brings a smile to my lips when, arriving at the airport from an appointment with a customer, I stroll past the gates with my airport identity badge round my neck, read the flight destinations near and far, observe the work going on, and can simply breathe in this special atmosphere...before I go back to my desk!
